The rise of the Luxury Guest Ranch.
Alisal Ranch’s roots reach back to 1810, when the valley was occupied by the Chumash people. The road between that peaceful valley and the luxury ranch of today is paved with Spanish padres, cattle ranching, and a novel irrigation system. In 1946, Alisal Ranch opened as the luxury ranch it is today, welcoming families young and old to experience life on a dude ranch.
